Itinerary

1Day 1Arrival in Marrakech+

Welcome at Marrakech-Menara Airport and private air-conditioned vehicle transfer to your riad in the Medina. Free time to settle in and soak up the enchanting atmosphere of the city. In the evening, a free stroll on Jemaa el-Fna Square to discover the storytellers, musicians and food stalls that animate the world's most famous square at sunset.

2Day 2Marrakech: Medina & Palaces+

Full day exploring the Pearl of the South. Guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Medina: Bahia Palace, ruins of El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs and Majorelle Gardens with the Berber Villa. In the afternoon, dive into the maze of compartmented souks (copper, leather, spices, rugs...). Traditional Moroccan dinner in a Medina restaurant.

3Day 3Marrakech – Fes via Middle Atlas+

Early morning departure towards Fes crossing the magnificent Middle Atlas. Stop at Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified ksar and backdrop for many film productions (Gladiator, Game of Thrones). Free lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Ifrane, the little Swiss Morocco nestled in the cedar forests. Arrival in Fes in the evening.

4Day 4Fes: The Millennial Medina+

A full day dedicated to Fes el-Bali, the world's largest preserved medieval medina. With your local expert guide, discover Al-Quaraouiyine University (founded in 859, the world's oldest continuously operating university), Chouara Tanneries with its unique plunging view, Bou Inania Medersa with its finely carved stucco, and Nejjarine Fountain and its wood museum. Rooftop lunch with panoramic views.

5Day 5Fes – Meknes – Volubilis+

Morning visit to Meknes, the often overlooked yet majestic imperial city. Admire Bab Mansour Gate, a masterpiece of Moroccan Islamic art, the royal granaries Heri es-Souani and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Lunch in Meknes. Afternoon: visit the Volubilis archaeological site, Roman capital of Mauritania Tingitana, with exceptionally well-preserved mosaics, UNESCO listed.

6Day 6Fes – Rabat+

Depart for Rabat, the Kingdom's capital. Visit the Chellah necropolis with its Merinid and Roman ruins, Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Stroll along the Oudaia Kasbah ruins offering stunning views over the Atlantic. Free dinner in the Hassan district.

7Day 7Rabat – Casablanca – Return to Marrakech+

Morning visit to Rabat's Mohammed VI Museum of Modern Art and Rabat Medina. Depart for Casablanca with a stop to admire the grand Hassan II Mosque. Seafood lunch at the fishing port. Return to Marrakech in the evening. Gala dinner in a Riad-restaurant with Andalusian music.

Good to know

**Dress code:** While Morocco is a welcoming country, it is recommended to cover shoulders and knees when visiting religious sites and in medinas. Bring a light scarf.

**Tips:** Tipping culture is important in Morocco. Budget about MAD 50–100 per day for your guide and MAD 50 per day for your driver.

**Health:** Tap water is not recommended for tourists. Drink only bottled water. Pharmacies are available in all cities. No mandatory vaccinations are required for European nationals.

**Currency:** The Moroccan Dirham (MAD) is the local currency. The approximate rate is 1 EUR ≈ 10.8 MAD. ATMs are widely available. Some medina shops prefer cash.

**Safety:** Morocco is generally safe for tourists. As with any tourist destination, stay vigilant in crowds, keep valuables secure and avoid walking alone at night in isolated alleys.
