This 5-day desert adventure from Marrakech takes you across the majestic High Atlas Mountains, through ancient kasbahs, dramatic valleys, and into the golden dunes of the Sahara. You'll explore Ait Benhaddou, Dades Valley, Todra Gorges, and experience a magical camel trek in Merzouga before spending a night under the stars in a luxury desert camp.
This tour has been designed to offer you a complete Moroccan desert experience: breathtaking landscapes, authentic encounters with Berber nomads, unforgettable nights under the starry Sahara sky, and discovery of the architectural treasures of the kasbahs route.
Itinerary
1Day 1 – Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley+
Depart Marrakech early morning to cross the Tichka Pass (2260m), Morocco's highest road pass, offering stunning panoramic views. Visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO kasbah and film location backdrop. Continue to Dades Valley with its spectacular rock formations.

2Day 2 – Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga+
Explore Dades Gorges in the morning, then drive to Todra Gorges, spectacular canyon with 300m cliffs. Continue to Merzouga through Erfoud palm groves. Arrive late afternoon.

3Day 3 – Merzouga - Camel Trek - Desert Camp+
Free day in Merzouga to explore surroundings. Late afternoon, depart on camel for sunset trek in Erg Chebbi dunes. Arrive at luxury camp for a magical night under stars with dinner and Berber music by the fire.

4Day 4 – Sunrise - Back to Merzouga - Ouarzazate+
Wake up to admire sunrise over the dunes (optional). Return to Merzouga by camel after breakfast. Drive to Ouarzazate crossing Draa Valley and its palm groves. Night in Ouarzazate, the desert gateway.

5Day 5 – Ouarzazate - Marrakech+
Optional visit to Atlas film studios in Ouarzazate. Return to Marrakech via Tichka Pass with panoramic photo stops. Arrive in Marrakech late afternoon.
