This 6-day itinerary from Agadir immerses you in the authenticity of southern Morocco, often unknown to tourists yet extraordinarily rich. From the beach resort of Agadir, you'll discover preserved territories: the arid Anti-Atlas mountains, the argan grove plain (unique in the world), and the Berber cities of Tiznit and Taroudant.
Above all, this journey is an immersion into Chleuh Berber culture, Morocco's largest Berber ethnic group, which has inhabited this region for millennia.
Itinerary
1Day 1 – Arrival in Agadir+
Welcome at Al Massira Airport and transfer to hotel. Orientation tour: Agadir Oufella Kasbah (panoramic bay views), Agadir souk and Amazigh Heritage Museum.
2Day 2 – Souss-Massa Park and Tiznit+
Morning: Souss-Massa natural reserve – flamingos, storks and rare Bald Ibis. Lunch of fresh fish at Sidi Rbat. Afternoon: Tiznit, silver jewellery city and Berber ramparts.
3Day 3 – Anti-Atlas and Berber Villages+
Drive into the Anti-Atlas through breathtaking lunar landscapes. Visit Ait Baamrane Berber villages and share a traditional meal with a local family.
4Day 4 – Taroudant – The Little Marrakech+
Drive to Taroudant across the Souss plain. Explore 7.5km of well-preserved ochre ramparts, authentic Berber souk and craft workshops. Visit an argan cooperative.
5Day 5 – Souss Valley and Tiout Palm Grove+
Tiout Palm Grove – easy 2h walk through palms and century-old olives. Picnic under the palms. Visit an artisan olive oil mill.
6Day 6 – Agadir – Departure+
Final Atlantic-view breakfast. Free time before transfer to Al Massira Airport.
