Description
The Ouzoud Waterfalls are among the most beautiful in Morocco, with a spectacular 110-metre drop in a lush green setting. Located 150 km north-east of Marrakech, they offer a refreshing escape from city heat.
A well-maintained path takes you down to the base of the falls where you can board a traditional rowing boat to get up close to the cascades. Along the way you will likely spot Barbary macaques roaming freely in the surrounding area.
Traditional Berber water mills, still in operation, add to the authentic charm of the site.
